Right to health and satisfaction of the external user
Keywords:
right to health, external user satisfactionSynopsis
This book addresses a topic of great relevance in the field of public health: the relationship between the exercise of citizen rights of access to health services and the satisfaction of external users who visit health sector establishments. The work is structured in three chapters, through which a conceptual and empirical journey is carried out to analyze the link between the variables of interest. The results, discussed in light of the theory and background, will allow us to draw conclusions about these associations and make recommendations both to improve public health policies and for future research. In this way, the study makes significant contributions on at least two levels. On the one hand, it generates empirical evidence on a topic little explored in the country such as the exercise of rights of users of public health services and its impact on the perceived quality of care. On the other hand, it also contributes to the generation of social scientific knowledge that allows us to continue consolidating universal access to health as a fundamental human right.
