In the international world, the mining sector has undoubtedly been linked to the economic displacement of society, since it has been developed for many decades through different processes, which is why the extraction of minerals as one of the so many activities carried out, it is considered one of the factors that produce higher levels of pollution for the environment, regardless of whether it is a formal or informal extraction process, since both bring harmful consequences to the environment, such as the destruction of the earth's crust. , effects on the flora and fauna of a territory and, especially, the state of well-being of the population.
In this way, it is necessary to highlight that the development and production of elements with a high level of pollution and impact on the atmosphere, in turn, causes an alteration in the supply of oxygen, this due to the introduction of gases and ashes. volcanics, forest fires or other factors typical of the ravages of natural changes; while on the other hand there is pollution caused by the hand of man, caused by the use of vehicles, paints, aerosols and industries.
Consequently, it is necessary to consider that, with the increase in the population over time, the quality of oxygen must be adequate to maintain their health. Hence, it is important to carry out an evaluation of all the polluting agents in the atmosphere resulting from mining activity, to determine the necessary measures and implement innovations that allow reducing the negative effects on the environmental impact and human health; evaluations that must be aimed at achieving a balance according to the activity that is carried out by man and the sustainability of the environment itself, since it is necessary to absolutely minimize natural overexploitation. Therefore, in the face of an economic activity that maintains negative impacts on health and the environment during its procedure, it is essential to determine the measurement of pollution levels and, with this, propose preventive measures in the event of any incident, so as not to generate a greater impact. , which is the subject of research in this book.
