Synopsis

Implementing a comprehensive water system in a society provides optimization of the integral well-being of its inhabitants, and this in turn generates development opportunities. A society without clean water leads to the spread of diseases; and if this happens, education takes on a tertiary role and a society without education is condemned to underdevelopment. It is important to take into account that, although water is the basis for building decent societies aimed at development, its use is another equally important issue. Development is not achieved when water is supplied to societies (this is just the beginning), development is achieved when resources are used responsibly.
Drinking water is a good used in different relevant economic areas, such as agriculture, which is why its use is often excessive and inappropriate. In this way, the management of a comprehensive system seeks to provide residents with effective facilities that allow them to use the water resource in an ideal way, with conscious thought and without harming future generations. This book seeks to show that the comprehensive water system represents a solid instrument to achieve sustainable development, since thanks to it societies have access to the vital resource for human beings: drinking water.

Experience in Public Administration, University Teaching and extensive knowledge in the formulation, evaluation and execution of Social Development Projects.
