Quality of electrical service: Efficiency in supervision and monitoring through an intelligent system
Keywords:
electric service, supervision and monitoring, smart systemSynopsis
Various entities have incorporated intelligent systems into their work and management processes that allow them to streamline their processes, monitor their production stages, design their products with greater versatility and acuity, more accurately diagnose possible failures or inconveniences, improve the quality of the service that they can offer to their users, among others.
This is how expert systems have become the preferred intelligent programs to be incorporated into various areas of human activities. This is because they have a specialized database that records all the experience that a human specialist could know for solving problems or making decisions that they could face. This database or knowledge store also has the advantage that it can be constantly updated, in such a way that the expert system can be aware of the innovations that occur in its field.
It is important to mention that the database acts as a virtual memory or library where all the information that is considered relevant and necessary for the expert system as a whole can operate correctly can be stored based on patterns, rules, schemes or series. On the other hand, according to Wormer (2019), the attractiveness of expert systems lies in their inference machine, which emulates the reasoning capacity of a specialist by using all the information found in them very efficiently and quickly. the database, with which it can manage, diagnose, monitor, teach, repair, etc., according to the task for which it was designed.
For these reasons, this work provides a succinct but pertinent exposition of the topics that have served as references for the research work carried out. The first chapter will provide an approach to the quality of electrical service and the importance it has in customer satisfaction from a general perspective, and then go on to develop, on a more specific level, the quality of service in private and public organizations. , as well as the quality of the public lighting service and the quality of the electricity supply by the electricity companies. In the second chapter we will talk about the importance of the database, Big Data, and Business Intelligence and the usefulness of case-based reasoning. Finally, in the third chapter, the development of intelligent systems will be addressed from a historical point of view and the development of expert systems, as well as a detailed explanation of their types, components and advantages.
