Synopsis

The development of a country largely depends on the scientific research carried out, because it allows finding sustainable and practical solutions to the problems that arise in its territory, as well as improving or reconstructing the previous knowledge that is handled. Teaching research methods is a primary task and still a constant concern in the world's educational systems; However, despite the consensus on its importance, in practice, it is observed that there is a great deficiency regarding its teaching: a large sector of the student population does not have effective learning in these areas, likewise, there is a set of negative beliefs about science and those who practice it. On the other hand, project-based learning or project-based learning is postulated, this is a pedagogical strategy that promotes the active participation of students, communication skills, group learning and, mainly, finding a framework of action for the application of theoretical knowledge, which is addressed in this work.
